The Integrative Aspect of Jeffrey’s Practice
Jeffrey’s integrative practice incorporates Western medical concepts into a traditional Chinese medical framework. Consequently, you receive the benefit of a blended and comprehensive approach to your healthcare needs.
There are many differences between Chinese medicine and Western medicine. For example, the conceptualizations of bodily systems, illness and wellness are very different. However, the two frameworks can work very effectively together in an integrative approach, giving patients the best of both worlds. For instance, Jeffrey’s care can use the diagnosis, lab results and treatment plan from a Western practitioner to inform his own treatment and to supplement a Western medicine treatment.
Using your primary care provider’s diagnosis, data and treatment plan along with his findings, patients with both acute and chronic conditions find benefit from adding one or more of Jeffrey’s modalities. Particularly difficult cases with intractable symptoms find relief through such a comprehensive approach.
Jeffrey’s methods are individualized and specific. An internal and integrative practice can incorporate both acupuncture and Chinese herbal prescriptions. Great care is taken to continually evaluate and adjust accordingly. He has an onsite pharmacy in which herbal compounds are customized for you if needed.
