Internal and Integrative Chinese Medicine is our specialty at Abacus Chinese Medicine. The words ‘internal’ and ‘integrative’ describe two distinct and important aspects of Jeffrey Russell’s work. He has practiced Internal & Integrative Chinese Medicine for the past 18 years with great success in treating many conditions. He is credentialed in acupuncture, herbal medicine and auricular medicine.

Internal Chinese medicine treats both acute and chronic conditions in all bodily systems. The conceptualizations of bodily systems, illness and wellness are very different than those found in Western medicine, however, the two frameworks can work hand in hand in an integrative approach quite successfully. For example, Jeffrey’s care can use the diagnosis, lab results and treatment plan from a Western practitioner to supplement that treatment. Also, many people find Chinese medicine alone to be very effective.
